EverGreen Lane Farm & Creamery, Fennville, MI Artisan Cheese, Organic Apples and Cider

An apprencticeship position is available for 2010. We are located in beautiful
southwest Michigan just 15 miles south of Holland, MI near Lake Michigan and
2 hours from Chicago. Our organic orchard business is in its eighth year and our
cheese business is in production as of March 2009. Currently, there are 25 does,
20 kids, a buck and 2 horses. The position responsibilities include, but may not
be limited to:

* help with daily chores in milking parlor and milk room
* assist in daily animal care including barn maintenance, pasture rotation,
fencing etc.
* help with organic orchard maintenance throughout the year
* harvesting fruit and assisting U-pick customers September-October

We are looking for someone with a strong, flexible work ethic, a willingness to
learn how to run farm equipment and work with large animals. Housing, utilities
and stipend are provided. 4 hours a day, six days a week with a minimum 3
